If you have any dismissal questions, the answers are below!

Car Riders: If your child is a car rider you will get in the car rider line and place your yellow car rider tag on your rear view mirror. You will wait in line and then pull all the way up in the lane and wait until your child is walked to their car. Please do not get out of your car. There are teachers in lanes placing children in their cars for their safety. Please be patient, the first couple of weeks will be very slow--- plan on it taking around 45 minutes. I promise it will get better!

Walkers: If your child walks ALONE, s/he will be released without a parent being present. Adults with walker signs should gather at the door closest to the playground crosswalk. The first adult to arrive should gather all of the walker signs and give them to the teacher when she opens the door. Your sign will be given to your child and s/he will be released to you. If you do not have a sign you will be asked to go to the office and show your identification so that your child may be released to you, no exceptions. Thank you for help with this procedure to ensure your child’s safety!

Boys and Girls Club: If your child stays in the Boys and Girls Club after school program he or she will be walked by a teacher to the cafeteria where the Boys and Girls Staff will be waiting for them. To pick up your child you will go to the doors by the cafeteria where a Boys and Girls Staff member will assist you.

Bus and Day Care:  If your child rides the school bus or is picked up by day care bus they will be walked to the gym to wait with a teacher until their bus comes and then a teacher will escort them to the bus.

****If you EVER need to change your child’s dismissal please email their teacher or call the front office before 2:00 pm. If you do not contact the the school by 2:00 pm your child will be dismissed the way you specified on your contact form. Only a parent can change a child’s dismissal procedure. You may not have your child verbally tell me. I have to have it in email, note in the folder, or a call to the office and they will notify me. Please let us know if you have any questions.
