We will be going to the MISD Performing Arts Center to listen to The Fort Worth Opera on Monday, October 2nd.
Collared shirts and slacks for the boys, and dresses or blouses and skirts/slacks for the girls.

Next week we will be taking our Math and Science CBA's (Curriculum Based Assessments).
Science: The science review will come home completed on Tuesday and we will take the test on Wednesday. The topics covered will be- classifying matter, testing the physical properties of matter, changing states of matter by adding or removing heat, and mixtures. There are several activities opened on Stemscopes that you can use as an additional review.
Math: The math review will be completed in class and sent home Thursday and we will test on Friday. The test will cover- place value to the hundred thousands, rounding to the nearest 10's and 100's, ordering and comparing numbers, perimeter, addition, and subtraction. The test will be in a word problem format with 20 questions. We have covered each question in class through guided practice, independent practice, or small group. The graded work section of your student's binder and the math papers in the front section are a great review for the test.
